Here are a few important details about the Adopt-A-Turtle program:
* For a tax-deductible donation of at least $25, the Sea Turtle Survival League (STSL) will send a personalized adoption certificate, a sea turtle conservation guide, a colorful sticker, magnet, and a one-year subscription to the STSL newsletter, all in a beautiful color folder.

$35/$45 Individual Plus Membership, you will receive a collection of sea turtle models;

In addition to a colorful adoption packet, adoptions include a year-long renewable membership in the Caribbean Conservation Corporation / Sea Turtle Survival League (CCC/STSL)—the world's oldest and most accomplished sea turtle conservation organization.
In addition to the adoption kit, which includes a personalized adoption certificate, sea turtle conservation guide, logo magnet and sticker, and introductory issue of CCC's newsletter, The Velador—all in a full-color take-along folder—members receive a year-long subscription to The Velador as well as action alerts, which keep members current on crucial sea turtle issues.

There are two types of sea turtle adoptions available—satellite-tracked and name-your-own. Satellite-tracked turtles are fitted with state-of-the-art satellite telemetry transmitters, designed to send signals each time the turtle comes to the surface for air. Regularly updated maps are posted on our website so that adoptive parents can keep track of their turtles.
Name-Your-Own adoptions allow you to name a turtle. Green turtles from our research station in Tortuguero, Costa Rica, who have been tagged by our researchers, are available for naming. Should that turtle return, her tag number will be listed in our quarterly newsletter, The Velador.
Can't decide? Give the recipient a choice, and he or she will receive a form explaining the adoption styles and giving them the option to choose which type of turtle they want to support.
Your gift also makes it possible for CCC / STSL to continue its mission of conservation, research, education and advocacy.
